VLLMRY Q&A...

Favourite Eyeliner: I use the Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil, I love it because the colour is really black and I find it lasts a long time. I've bought this pencil about 3 times now, it's definitely the best one I've ever used!

Favourite Foundation: I actually don't wear foundation, I find that it clogs up my pores and makes me look and feel really fake, so I tend to use concealer just to hide my blemishes. If I had to pick one foundation, it would probably be Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation as its spreads and blends so easily.

Favourite Skin Care Product: This is such a hard one to choose! I love all the products in the photo above, but I guess I'd have to choose my Moisturiser, Nivea Creme. The more you moisturise, the less you'll look like a used tea bag when your older! I've bought hundreds of these before, I've bought this product for years- not exaggerating here! Its honestly a miracle product, the size, the texture, the softness on your skin. Amazing.

Favourite Nail polish: For a girl who has over 40 different nail polishes, and about 17 nail art pens, the amount of times I paint my nails a year is a tiny, tiny, tiny amount. I hate painting my nails, I hate waiting for them to dry as I always need to do something and they end up getting ruined, and I hate the way you have to awkwardly do everything when you have your nails painted. But, my favourite shade of nail polish is probably clear, but seeing that that isn't a proper shade, I usually wear anything glittery, if it sparkles, then I have to have it. You could say that I'm a bit of a magpie...

Do you ever poke yourself in the eye with your eye liner?: Yes! All the time! And jeez does it hurt. I really need to be more careful when applying eye liner. I honestly never learn from my mistakes.

How often do you buy make up?: It seems like I never buy make up, I just have loads of it! I guess I buy bits of make up whenever I need it, or whenever I have enough money but since we've started this blog, I've noticed and increase in the amount of make up I'm buying. I guess I buy make up every 2-4 weeks, usually about once a month when I buy all the things I need in one go. But to be honest, I spend more money on skin care products like cleanser and toner.

Favourite Lipgloss: I really really like Rimmel London Vinyl Gloss in 130 take a chance (If I've got the name wrong, then it's the light pink one!). I think its such a cute, girly colour and it lasts for ages. Perfect for day time and its such a natural look on your lips.

Do you know your undertone colour? I have absolutely no idea what my undertone colour is, I'm not even entirely sure what an undertone colour is and I wouldn't know how to find out my undertone colour or anything like that. I bet I sound really stupid now...

What mascara do you use? I recently bought Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara but I'm not keen on it so I'm thinking about buying Natural Collection Water Guard Mascara again because its so much cheaper and I find it makes my lashes longer than the Rimmel London one.

Do you wear eye shadow? No, I don't wear eye shadow, mainly because I wear glasses, and I find it looks like too much is going on in one place, because I don't have time to put it on in the morning, and because I don't even know what colours suit me best.

Which celebrity's make up do you like the most? Lauren Conrad, because her make up is so natural and she always manages to look really good (unfair!). I also love what she does on the beauty department

What shampoo and conditioner do you use? It depends, usually it will be something from Herbal Essences or Pantense Pro-v, but sometimes from brands like Tresemme and Vo5. It honestly depends on the season, and how my hair looks and feels that day.

Would you feel comfortable leaving the house without make up? I rarely leave the house without make up on, not because I'm vain, but because I've got up and ready to leave the house. I wouldn't put on a full face of make up just to nip to the Co-op or anything, I just don't see the point to be honest.

I hope you enjoyed this little Q&A, maybe you found it interesting or encouraged you to try some new things. I tried to answer the questions as truthfully as I could, and not just putting 'high end' brands down to make this blog seem cooler or anything. I also tried to link all the brands back to their websites, so click on the links and it'll take you straight to a shop where you can buy them from. I didn't quite realise how long this post actually was until just now, but I really hoped you enjoyed a little something different!

Next Love Glamour Eau De Toilette.

Love glamour, Eau de Toilette

I've bought this perfume about 3 times now and it honestly is my favourite right now!  Unfortunately , Next don't sell this exact bottle any more. The old bottle (pictured above) costs £6.50 for 30ml, now you have to pay £10.00 for 75ml, and the packaging is slightly different.
I really like the packaging on the box (Sorry, I couldn't find a photo) but then again, I'm a sucker for anything stripey, and the blue and white stripes give it a French vibe which I really like.

The smell, I find, is hard to describe as it doesn't remind me of anything else, but according to the next website it is '
Fruity top notes open to a pretty floral heart of lily and gardenia.'  The smell, when you first squirt it, is almost off puttingly strong, but it soon fades down to

kind of a middle strength of smell. This strength lasts for usually around about 3 hours.
I find that the 30ml bottle lasts for ages and are well worth your money (not that it was expensive anyway). In fact, I would say this product is under-priced!

I would definitely recommend this to a friend, the smell is gorgeous and its so cheap, I don't see why not!

Beaute Cosmetics Large Gift Set

Happy Christmas!
I got this Beaute Cosmetics gift set for Christmas, and I was so excited to use it! Beaute are not a brand I've heard of before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm not usually a lipstick fan but I was buzzing to use the two lipsticks first as they are such nice colours, so I'm going to be reviewing them today!

The 'D' stands for darker- the redder lipstick.

These Lipsticks, as far as I know, don't have official 'names' all I can find is that they're called 'the red lipstick' (the pictures are ABOVE) or 'the pink lipstick' (the pictures are BELOW).
As I said before, I wasn't sure what to expect with this brand but I'm quite impressed. You may have noticed in the pictures, that they really show off the cracks in your lips, and don't look smooth unless you put some lip-balm on. They are drying but they are more opaque in colour than some better known brands that you're more likely to find in Boots, Superdrug, etc.
I found that they last a long time as long as you aren't eating or drinking and unlike some lipsticks that I've tried in the past, they don't wear off when you lick your lips (a bad habit that I've found myself doing constantly).
I'm afraid I don't know the price as they were a gift and I have no patience with their tediously slow website. So if any of you know the price, please comment below. I reckon they'd cost under £5.00 but I might pay more if I found them sold without having to buy the rest of the gift set. I don't even know if these are available to buy separately, but if I ever find they are, then I will definitely buy them again! I would recommend these to a friend, I really like them and I can't wait to wear them again tomorrow!

Again, the 'L' stands for lighter- the pinker lipstick.

Striped Nails- tutorial.

models own in blooboo

Rimmel London in 610 Pompous

Okay, this is my first tutorial and I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing, but here goes! Oh, and I am the worlds worst nail painter, so your final result will look better than mine - for sure!
Step 1- Paint your whole nail in a colour of your choice. I chose Model's own Bloo boo (the link is in the caption). Make sure the colour looks completely opaque, so you can do as many coats as you want.
Step 2- Once your nails are *completely* dry (Yes I do mean completely- I had to learn the hard way...), stick some sellotape across your nails. I had to use red present wrapping tape as I've misplaced my sellotape.
Step 3- Using a different colour of your choice, (again, the link for the colour in the photo is in the caption), paint the visible space on your nails.
Step 4- Make sure your nails are again, completely dry before gently peeling off the tape, revealing a neat, accurate line. VoilĂ ! Your duo-tone nails are complete!

Rimmel London Sexy Curves Mascara 001 Black

I bought this Rimmel London Sexy Curves Mascara because my old mascara (Natural Collection if you're wondering) was well over its three month use by date. I have bought make-up from Rimmel before -I love their Kohl eye liner pencils, so I know that they can be trusted.
I find this mascara quite a lot heavier and more gloopy than my last mascara and I'd say it takes a quite a few coats to get it to my preferred length of lashes. I also found that its *really* flaky!  There were specks of mascara all over my face about a few minutes before I took this photo, I had to wipe it all off and it's still not perfect now!
The packaging is eye catching, and perfectly sized to fit into my over flowing make-up bag. It's more purpley 'in real life' than it appears in the photos and feels surprisingly light. I'm not keen on the wand/head of it though, I wouldn't say it does anything to the product and is a bit too small, which I guess won't help with adding length and volume to my eyelashes.
Overall, this is almost a good product, but definitely NOT worth the £9 or something like that, that I paid for it!
